I grew up in a small mountain town in Northern California where I learned to love the outdoors. Skiing in the winter, camping in the summer, hiking, fishing, biking, with mountains all around, I learned to appreciate how important it is to get out and enjoy nature. I took that attitude with me through college and beyond, and finally found my perfect location here in Pagosa Springs.

After graduating college, I began my career with a software consulting firm where I was able to develop coding, technical and computer skills that have assisted me throughout my life. While in that position it was the purchase of my first home that fueled my passion for real estate, and which taught me the full benefits of home ownership. The subsequent purchase of two more primary residences and several investment properties has allowed me to realize how lucrative investing in real estate can be.

After starting a family, my husband and I and our one-year-old daughter moved to the Denver Metro area of Colorado in 2005. My husband and I worked together in real estate, which gave me a broad range of knowledge and experience in many different facets of the industry, including rental properties, fixer-uppers, leasing, property management, and residential buying and selling. I also gained real estate appraisal and appraisal analyst experience and have worked in both large and small county Assessor’s offices. This allows me to help others understand how the valuation and assessment processes conducted by the County affects them.

After my oldest daughter graduated from high school and started college, we realized it was time to get back to the mountain living we desired. Seeing the beautiful San Juans and quaint charm of Pagosa Springs, we knew this was where we needed to be. We loaded up our younger daughter and our son and moved down to SW Colorado.

I am extremely excited to be a part of the Sherpa team, assisting others find their dream homes in this amazing place and helping them elevate their mountain living.
