Hi! I am a Colorado native and I truly love Pagosa Springs. I honestly think it is the most spectacular region in the state. The climate, the 300-plus days of sunshine and the family-oriented, community atmosphere make it a wonderful place to call home.
My husband, Tim, and I feel very good about raising our family here. We have four kids ranging in age from 19-36 and two grandsons.
I take my full-time career very seriously. I am knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of real estate; I have been listing and selling in Pagosa Springs for 21 years. I firmly believe that integrity, quality service, attention to details and effective and quick communication are imperative to any successful business. It is extremely important to me that my clients continuously use me for their real estate needs and that they feel comfortable referring me to their family and friends. A large percentage of my business is based on referrals.
I work with many sellers and I carry a large listing portfolio. I am very particular about my marketing. In this technological age it is extremely important to portray properties favorably online in order to reach as many people as possible. Most folks already know what properties they want to see when they walk through my door because they’ve done extensive web research. Internet presentation is huge.
I understand the resort buyer, and I know that a purchase in a resort community can sometimes be a lengthy process. I work with people over time and help them gather the information necessary to feel comfortable making a purchase. It is a very big decision.
I thrive on continuing education. I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Only 5% of Realtors nationwide qualify for this. I also have my Master of Real Estate (MRE) and my Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designations, plus, I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Being recognized by these titles requires a tremendous amount of sales experience and continuing education. In the past, I have been selected as the local Realtor of the Year and awarded for my service to the industry. I stay on top of the current market trends, and I love using cutting edge technology in my business.
My husband, Tim Brown, is a local contractor. Between his knowledge of building and my knowledge of real estate, we are a great resource to my customers.
I spent my youth in the Denver area. I attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, but later transferred to Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction where I received my Bachelor’s Degree. I moved to Pagosa Springs in 1993 from Breckenridge and have never once regretted my decision to relocate here.
Southwestern Colorado provides a wonderful playground for all the activities I love, plus so much more. I enjoy 4 wheeling, mountain biking, camping, hiking, and photographing the local scenery. One of my favorite things to do is spend an evening in front of a crackling campfire with my family.
I believe in giving folks more service than they expect to get and it has always worked out well…
Call me today for your real estate needs; I am Recognized, Respected, and Referred.
