Growing up in northern New Mexico, Gabe frequently visited Pagosa Springs, snowboarding at Wolf Creek in the winter and backpacking through the San Juan Mountain in the summer. After graduating from film school in Albuquerque, he cut his teeth behind the camera working for local news stations and on independent film sets. His path eventually led to the great north to Montana, where his love for the mountains—and his obsession with capturing them through video and photography—truly caught fire. There, he shot for ski resorts and documented the rhythm of the seasons..
After carving his way through Montana’s rugged peaks, Gabe returned to the sun-baked Southwest, landing in Pagosa Springs—the place he used to daydream about as a teenager. Now happily married to his wife Lynnea, still living the mountain lifestyle, and spending his days capturing the beauty of this truly special town (and getting paid for it), Gabe considers himself the luckiest guy in the world.
